CA3140 Operational Amplifier is a high-performance BiMOS operational amplifier IC featuring a MOSFET input stage and bipolar transistor output stage. It is designed for applications that require very high input impedance, very low input current, wide common-mode input range and good operating speed.

The CA3140 can operate from a 4V to 36V supply, making it suitable for both single-supply and dual-supply analog circuits. Its MOSFET input provides a typical input impedance in the teraohm range and very low input bias current, which makes the IC useful for high-impedance sensor interfaces and precision analog signal processing.

With approximately 4.5MHz bandwidth, CA3140 can be used in a wide range of electronics projects including voltage amplifiers, active filters, comparators, peak detectors, sample-and-hold circuits, function generators, tone-control circuits and sensor signal conditioning.

For Bangladeshi electronics students, engineers, hobbyists and Arduino makers, CA3140 is a useful choice when a traditional 741-style single op-amp with a MOSFET input stage is required.
